PRAYER: Why are we here?... What’s life all about?... our readings this Sunday show us that God created us (Book of Genesis), did not want us to be alone and set up loving marriage between men and women. The Lord wants to bless us and have us see prosperity and peace (Responsorial Psalm 128). Jesus, the “leader of our salvation” calls us brothers and sisters (Letter to the Hebrews). Jesus emphasizes that God’s idea of marriage is two becoming one flesh with God’s help and blessing.( Mark 10). May you know the peace of Christ in your heart!
PARISH MAINTENANCE: We are doing the dull, tough – but necessary work of keeping our parish buildings open, dry, heated. However the REAL Parish Maintenance happens in its people!.... Let’s keep all our hearts open to God and the Holy Spirit….. dry and calm… and let’s not let our hearts grow cold!
PARISH ONGOING MISSION/EVANGELIZATION/GROWTH: Sunday, October 24, 2021 from 8:45 to 11:45 am will be our first GENERATIONS OF FAITH program in our downstairs Hall!... Woo Hoo…. This is open to all parishioners. Our theme will be ALL SAINTS/ALL SOULS. Breakfast will be served as we engage in this fun, active way to do life-long learning in our Catholic Faith. Let’s help our youth and families see the power of living CATHOLIC… Our faith is the best way to grow into hope filled, joy filled people!
Peace be with you and your family!
